Inspiration

Ive often felt I didn't know where to start on a project, or didn't know how long I should be taking per piece of a task. With Taskivide, these problems are solved.

What it does

Taskivide offers to divide common tasks into smaller, easier to complete tasks. Then, it adds these tasks to your google calendar to give you a clear timeline for the project

How we built it

Using javascript and the google calendar API, I managed to have some common tasks ready to go and easily add them to a user's google account

Challenges we ran into

Google Calendar Api was finicky and not well maintained

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I managed to learn to use this API despite lack of documentation and explanation

What we learned

I learned to check my code and make sure I understand everything that is going on

What's next for Taskivide

Next for taskivide is community based projects, where users can add their own projects as a template for the community
