Inspiration

In today's fast-paced world, managing tasks efficiently is crucial. Often, tasks assigned during conversations are forgotten or mismanaged due to lack of structure. We wanted to bridge this gap by creating a solution that listens, understands, and organizes tasks seamlessly. Task Flow was inspired by the need for developers and teams to integrate task management systems without starting from scratch, providing a structured JSON output for easy integration.

What it does

Task Flow leverages Omi’s AI-powered capabilities to extract actionable tasks from conversations. It analyzes transcripts, identifies tasks, and organizes them into a JSON format complete with essential details like deadlines, priority, and communication preferences. The JSON output can then be seamlessly integrated with task management platforms like Notion, enabling users to stay organized effortlessly.

How we built it

The extension uses a robust prompt design to analyze transcripts for task extraction and outputs a structured JSON format.
