Inspiration

Have you ever wanted to go tandem biking but lacked the most important thing, a partner? We realize that this is a widespread issue and hope to help tandem bikers of all kinds, including both recreational users and those who seek commuting solutions.

What it does

Our project helps you find a suitable tandem biking partner using a tinder-like system. We develop routes and the program also includes features such as playlist curation and smart conversation starters.

How we built it

The web app was developed using django.

Challenges we ran into

Developing an actual swipe mechanism was fairly difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of our members' ingenuity in developing solutions utilizing django, an interface with which we all lacked experience.

What we learned

We learned that tons of people are actually really interested in tandem biking and would download the app.
