Inspiration

We wanted to make paying tabs in large groups easier for everyone

What it does

Takes a photo and categorizes the items that can be split between people

How we built it

we used Javascript, react native, Nodejs, Flask, Gemini's PAI

Challenges we ran into

getting github and react to work took several hours 6+ to get working correctly

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we did something that none of use have done before, that is getting a app working on a "phone"

What we learned

App development requires many technologies and software to get started

What's next for TabTogether

As of right now Apple recures use to have developer status to use camera features on their phones, the next step would be to make AI read a photo and automatically add all the items and categorize them accordingly
