🚀 Inspiration Syndicated loans are the backbone of large-scale financing, yet the process behind them is still heavily manual, fragmented, and error-prone. During our research, we found that banks, agents, and investors spend weeks manually reviewing PDFs—loan agreements, amendments, covenants, ESG reports—often across hundreds of pages.
At the same time, the Loan Market Association (LMA) is actively pushing for:
Digital loan standardisation Faster settlement cycles Stronger ESG and green loan governance
This gap between regulatory ambition and operational reality inspired us to build SyndicateIQ—a platform that treats loan documents not as static files, but as living intelligence assets.

📊 What We Learned
Building SyndicateIQ taught us that: The hardest problem isn’t AI—it’s trust. Financial institutions need explainability, auditability, and governance. ESG compliance is not about reporting—it’s about verification. Automation only works if it aligns with existing institutional workflows, not against them. We also learned how critical UX clarity is for enterprise tools—judges and users must instantly understand value.
