Inspiration

Going into college I was overwhelmed by the workload and when we saw the productivity theme it inspired us to create a calendar that would help us manage the work.

What it does

It is able to create events, tasks, and courses. You are also able to use speech to text to add an event. There is also an advice feature that will add your event for you based on if it is a hard task or easy task.

How we built it

We built using VS code with frontend html and CSS as well as JavaScript. We also used an AI helper to solve bugs and take in voice input

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a lot of challenges with the backend regarding the permissions. So we were not able to do many of the implementations that we had planned

Accomplishments that we're proud of

In frontend development we are very proud of the calendar design and the theme of the project. In the backend development is that we are able to integrate AWS into implementation.

What we learned

We learned a lot about the different backend aspects of AWS and how we can apply it to solving real work problems.

What's next for SyncFlow

We want to create a parsing system that takes in student schedules and parsing in into their calendar and sends them daily reminders.
