Sunbears Solar Hackathon Entry

Inspiration

Provide solar developers and installers with the ability to explore geographic trends in solar adoption, identify high potential areas, and rank regions by growth potential in order to target sales and marketing efforts.

Data sources:

• Genability API
• Household RECs
• Zillow neighborhood data (used for housing size)
• National Climatic Data Center (used for weather/cooling)
• CRM system (used for historic performance tracking)

Outputs: -Machine learning-based forecasting of high potential markets
