Our Inspiration:

School is a place for fun, friends, and most importantly, learning. The experience students gain at school rivals no other.

However, we can always try our best at home. Friends and collaboration are a crucial part of a good education, and this has become harder due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Introducing... StudySpaces! A fun, new way to bring the collaboration back into education. Remote learning doesn't need to be associated with boredom, rather the opposite!

What it does:

StudySpaces is like the Jackbox Games for studying! Get a group of friends together and a deck of questions you want to study and you are set! It was made specifically to help students affected by COVID-19, but we want to carry it further.

Simply create a deck with our editor, supply some concepts that you want to study in these decks then launch a game off of that deck!

The game can be sent to other people to create a realtime party game-like experience.. but for studying!

What I learned

I learned how to better mainstain a full stack app, by decoupling the views from the logic and API.

What's next for studyspaces

We wanted to make study spaces very modular, games can be added just by plugging in the files. In the future, we want to add more social aspects, add more games, and polish the UI
