The education system is broken for Gen Alpha, and we're here to fix it.

“Yo chat, explain this to me like I’m 5.” Research. Twice as many teens use GenAI for schoolwork in 2025 vs. 2023 (13% → 26%, Pew Research). Over 80% say EdTech helps them improve grades and learn more efficiently.

“Attention span? We don’t know her.” Research. Gen Alpha has a lower tolerance for delayed gratification, with one study of online messaging finding that 95% of Gen Alpha kids expect an immediate response.

“KhanAcademy but make it live XR feedback.” Research. EdTech market is exploding to $467B by 2027 (26.32% CAGR), with K-12 dominating 47.5% of the market and 90%+ usage increase since 2020.

What it does

StudySnaps XR is a fully interactive extended reality study assistant designed for Gen Alpha learners.

Passive, seamless sensing: The model reduces friction by scanning your notebook in real time and providing an audio visual guide. No screenshots, no uploading every 2 seconds. Help in real time.

Instant Environmental Understanding: Ask questions about your text and receive summaries, explanations, or elaborations with human-like voice responses.

Gamified Progress: Loading bars, confetti celebrations, and positive reinforcement keep students strongly motivated through their learning journey.

Natural Interaction + Dad jokes: Engage with StudySnaps XR like a real teacher: interrupt, ask follow-ups, and receive patient, encouraging responses with dad jokes sprinkled in for engagement.

Visual Adaptable Learning: Visualize complex concepts through interactive 3D representations, helping students truly grasp difficult material. All interactions adapt to each student's unique learning style.

How we built it

We have built a Teacher-Verse , essentially a web of teachers that can get updated over time to power the next generation of AI Education .This was made possible through FetchAI and their Agentverse. We used the ASI:One to perform teacher discovery. The teacher agents are specialized for the courses that are offered on our platform.

Challenges we ran into

Using Lens Studio and Snap Spectacles was something very new to us. The documentation was challenging to go through as well, we had to learn how to create 3D assets and implement them in a 3D space. We tried to stream live video data to the Spectacles which proved to be a big challenge as well. Setting up a relationship between the mentor and the mentee without any voice or prompting was challenging as well.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully built a functional Teacher-Verse, powered by FetchAI’s Agentverse, that allows dynamic AI teacher discovery. We integrated Snap Spectacles to create an immersive learning experience — a complex technical challenge we managed to pull off. We established seamless communication between mentor and mentee through immersive visuals, without relying on voice or manual prompts. We combined AI education and AR technology to make learning more interactive and accessible, bridging two rapidly evolving fields.

What's next for StudySnaps

We would be expanding StudySnaps XR 2.0 by including a variety of scrollable bite-sized courses to fully give access for the student. Additional gamified elements such as a highscore and daily goal bar would be a great way to engage the student further!
