Inspiration

The theme for Hackville 2025 is Hack For Student, we are all students from Sheridan College, and asking ourselves if there is a platform that we want to see the most, it will be something that would prepare us before any exam that we have or haven't studied much :). This is where we came up with the idea of StudySimplify. A platform where students get notes and prepare for a day or a night before the exam.

What it does

Students will upload slide, pdf, or docx format resources that the professor provided throughout the week before the exam. Our gen AI will create a summary, a quiz, and even a flashcard for study cram, making sure that you will be well-prepared for anything that will happen in the exam.

Setting up server, connecting front and back end.

We become more close together.

What we learned

Fetch Json from genAI responses, work as a team, help teammates out, and "prompt engineer".

What's next for StudySimplify

We want to put more types of support like video, and voice-to-voice assistance. Document upload not limited to PDF and docx but to YouTube videos.
