Inspiration

Based on our own experience as college students, we faced many difficulties in understanding subjects in university. Most of our friends also had the same issue with learning materials provided by lecturers. Turns out, we were having difficulties because we were trying to learn just by skimming through thick books, or doing practice and mock exams over and over without any improvements.

We are inspired by Google Classroom and trying to make it more accessible by adding generative AI support to automatically create flashcards. Well, because reading a whole big book is not for everyone, apparently. That's why we created StudyO! For those who loves learning or trying to love learning! We've tried our best to create this app for everyone, hence why we dedicate this app for free of charge :DDD

What it does

Simply put, this app will help you learn subjects faster with active recalling method. That is, to break down complex concepts into tiny bits of knowledge. This way, you can memorize concepts faster and more effectively. You can utilize the feature of having an automatically generating flashcard with your notes. Our AI agent (DeepSeek) will take away he hassle.

How we built it

We built this app using Flutter and Supabase. We also utilized Google OAuth2 for the main way of signing into our app. We used DeepSeek API to process the materials into flashcards and use it on our app. We created this app with full hearts❤️😘😽

Challenges we ran into

A lot of challenges, to be honest. We did not expect our installation of Flutter to be corrupted at site. We spent 3 hours trying to fix our stuff and eventually got it to work just fine hehe
