Study Bug, an AI study buddy, lets students upload their class materials and receive an organized calendar, personalized study plans, and location services to find classes and office hours.

Inspiration

As students at Ohio State University, the hardest part about studying is sometimes just getting started. Keeping track of office hours, assignments, and making study tools are all just a hassle, especially with the different apps.

What it does

So what Study Bug does is allow students to act as a study assistant with an uploader that allows uploaded syllabi and lectures to generate study materials such as flashcards and practice quizzes.

Another big feature is using the location finder using Google Maps to find the buildings for office hours and courses, and also directions to get into classrooms from the entrance of the building.

How we built it

We used Lovable AI, as we decided to go through the builder track to focus on the idea and implement the solution over the developer track.

Challenges we ran into

Understanding prompting the AI to generate code for the website.

What's next for Study Bug

Making everything more streamlined and working with students to work with the demo and see what changes we could have based on customer experiences.
