Inspiration

As a team of high school students, we understand the struggles of staying on task and learning in a digital space.

What it does

We created a discord study bot with 4 main features: a Pomodoro timer, to do list, flashcards, and achievements.

How we built it

We built this using Python and the discord.py API!

Challenges we ran into

As a team of beginners, we started with coding in a console with basic user input features. Our main challenge was shifting from coding in a console to creating a more user-friendly end-product, like a web app or discord bot.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that we were all able to compete in our first hackathons, and complete the product we brainstormed together.

What we learned

Throughout this process, we learned about the importance of flexibility and creativity. If one idea did not work out, it's completely ok to pivot and branch out to an alternative strategy!

What's next for Study Bot

Hopefully our team will be able to keep working on this bot to add other elements and features.
