Project Story

This project began with a simple question: What truly influences student performance? With so much data available but so little clarity, I wanted to build a tool that could turn raw numbers into meaningful insights. That idea became the foundation of my Student Performance Dashboard.

I started by exploring the dataset—cleaning it, understanding patterns, and identifying the factors that might shape academic outcomes. As I dug deeper, relationships began to emerge: differences across subjects, variations tied to demographics, and trends that weren’t obvious at first glance.

Using Power BI, I transformed these findings into a clean, intuitive dashboard. My focus was on clarity—ensuring every visual answered a real question and every metric added value. DAX helped create dynamic measures, while thoughtful layout and color choice made the story easy to follow.

Throughout the process, I learned how powerful data visualization can be when it’s done with purpose. What began as a practice exercise grew into a tool that educators, students, or analysts could use to explore performance data with confidence.

This project strengthened my skills in data modeling, visualization, and storytelling—and showed me how data can spark insights that drive better decisions.
