Inspiration

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire education system was derailed at an unforeseen time. Many students struggled to adjust to their new lifestyles of staying home all day and online learning (online homework, lectures and exams).

What it does

Stay Focused is a Python application that allows students to stay focused by keeping track of their schedules, create to-do lists and monitor their usage on social media sites like TikTok and Youtube.

How I built it

Using Python's Graphical User Interfaces from Tkinter, Object Oriented Programming and Data Structures

Challenges We Faced

We were all new to Python and Tkinter so we faced many challenges with programming, using GUI interfaces and Data Structures.

I worked on the main page and the my schedule page. This was my first time using Python Tkinter.

I worked on the "To Do List" page, which was built using Python TKinter. This was my first time building a GUI using TKinter, it was challenging but also a lot of fun!

Yolanda Chen
I came up with the app and its design. I worked on Daily Habits and helped with anything else I could. Created a lot of code and pseudo code to help my partners. It was my first time working with TKinter GUI. I am incredibly happy to see this concept come to life.
