Hackathon data exists on devpost, but isn't available for analysis.

What it does

(WIP) Scrapes devpost, performs visualizations on the data.

How we built it

Python web scraper + SQL + vizabi and data from hackalist.org <3

Challenges we ran into

Page scraping sucks, as usual.

coming together as a team

What we learned

Python3 is not python2, although python3 does have much nicer unicode support.

What's next for stay-puft

Finish out data scraping, possible dump the dataset for public consumption.
