Inspiration
We got inspired by stack overflow being such a useful programming tool for programmers. We decided that we would make a clone of stack overflow but for silly purposes where people can express their passionate anger about the internet's silliest, and weirdest questions.
What it does
Users can post questions, reply to questions, log in, log out, and can vote on a question if they are logged in.
How we built it
We built this application using Flask, Sqlite, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Jinja. We used Flask and Jinja to handle the back-end and the front-end backend connection respectively, HTML, CSS, and Javascript for the front-end.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges we ran into were the voting system not working and the integration of that with the SQL tables and if you are logged in or not.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of making a working proper replica of a popular site which has a really clean UI and back-end.
What we learned
We learned that programming is a very hard skill and takes multiple attempts to get it right.
What's next for StackDebateFlow
StackDebateFlow will be updated to integrate more features of stack-overflow such as a side-bar with AI integration, tags, challenges and more that are the same as the Stack Overflow Site.
