Spooky Mad Libs

Inspiration

We were inspired by mad libs we would often do as kids and wanted to take our own spin with a Halloween setting

What it does

Our website lets visitors to the site create their own Halloween story and read it, being thoroughly entertained

How we built it

We built it using VS code, combining the CSS, HTML, Javascript, images and audio files

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge was being able to come up with an idea we could execute in the time frame as well as effectively implement it. It was also tough to get everything done together when VS code is not a super collaboration friendly platform.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the madlib we wrote as well as any code that we wrote that really worked. We are proud of everything we got done with our first hackathon

What we learned

We learned a lot of javascript, none of use knowing any before the hackathon. It was also great to figure out how to combine HTML and javascript to develop some stuff

What's next for Spooky Mad Libs

We will probably continue working on and refining our coding skills and possibly site, and if it turns out well enough, maybe pursue more coding projects.
