Inspiration
Taking inspiration from The Battle of Gaugamela, where Alexander the Great won solely with attack strategies and maneuvers, we created the player vs player version of this game. In this version, two players fight against each other's troops, ultimately destroying their tower.
What it does
In this imaginative and engaging game, players call goblins by tapping. They fight against their opponent's troops and attempt to destroy their tower. The first person to get the other's tower destroyed, WINS!
How we built it
We used Kaboom.js and Visual Studio Code to create this masterpiece.
All of our assets are opensource, and are retrieved from itch.io, shutterstock.com, etc.
Challenges we ran into
Since this is our first time working on a project using primarily Kaboom library and learn the ropes on the go, we ran into a lot of problems ranging from being unable to load our images or our web page in general. However, we were able to solve every issue through teamwork.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have acquired a large collection of assets which would be tremendously useful for our coming projects as well.
What we learned
In 24 hours, we ran into a lot of issues. However, we overcame all of them. On top of that, we learned a whole new library and could implement it just within a day.
What's next for Spookie Dookie
We hope to implement more and better features within our existing game and create innovation engaging games and softwares.
