SpeechAssist

Inspiration

SpeechAssist was inspired by the belief that everyone should have access to personalized and effective interview preparation, similar to how KIRA talent helps students present their best selves to universities.

What it does

SpeechAssist offers a virtual platform where users can practice interviews with custom-tailored questions, receive real-time feedback, and refine their answers for better communication and confidence in actual interviews.

How we built it

We developed SpeechAssist by integrating AI and machine learning algorithms capable of understanding and analyzing speech patterns, content relevance, and delivery to provide constructive feedback, built on a user-friendly interface.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was developing an AI that could accurately interpret various speech nuances and provide meaningful feedback. Ensuring the platform was accessible and intuitive for users of all technical abilities was also a considerable challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of creating a sophisticated AI that goes beyond generic advice to provide personalized coaching. It's ability to interpret different languages allows for more accessibility.

What we learned

Throughout the development process, we've learned about the complexities of human language, the importance of user experience design, and the power of iterative feedback for both our users and our product development.
