What does being human mean to you? For billions of people everyday, being human means looking at your phone and forgetting how to be human. Our team is Spark and we want to transform the world with conversation powered by artificial intelligence.

Conversation is an art form and we believe it is the foundation of artistic collaboration. But in a world where technology is supposed to connect us us, why do we feel so disconnected? Why does your social media status define your personality on a very superficial level? How do you develop those meaningful human connections? In the context of school, it's incredibly hard to approach someone and go beyond the superficials of what do you study, how's class and get to the deeper conversation of how are you feeling today and what matters to you?

We want to go past the small talk and build a friendship, a relationship a true sense of community and belonging. We want to build meaningful conversations using our product SparkLED. We combine a web interface with a wearable smart bracelet that gives haptic feedback based on matches (based on values, hobbies, personality, life events, etc.) using our backend powered by artificial intelligence (Watson Personality Insights and Tone Analyzer API). SparkLED cues the conversation to find common stories and values.

Our solution has broad commercial applications from school events, professional networking socials, to corporate-sponsored events. Our key customers will be those running the events such as event organizers, creative or experience agencies, schools and corporations. The LED bracelet is currently priced at around $30 each with a project or package rate (for multiple events) on top of this. Additionally, we offer another layer of service that provides businesses with meaningful user data analysis and consultation on the insights of the experience. This helps organizers improve their events or create new tailored events targeting a niche market segment.
