Tasks We Tackle

"Fashion" is something that everyone in the world touches every day and is part of self-expression. While it is mass-produced and disposed of by consumers, there are some people who have few choices available. Existing fashions are designed for persons with no disability in a standing position. So, there are some difficult situations for persons with disabilities who have limitations of their movable range:

Cannot tell whether or not they can wear clothes without trying them on.
The fitting room is often too small to accommodate wheelchairs when trying on clothes.
Takes so much time to put on and take off clothes, making it difficult to try them on.
Buying clothes without trying them on often ended up throwing them away.

世界中の誰もが毎日触れるものであり、自己表現の一部となる「ファッション」。大量生産大量廃棄がされる一方、選択可能な選択肢が少ない人がいます。既存のファッションは立位の健常者をベースとしてデザインされ、身体の可動域制限がある障害者にとっては

試着してみないと着れるかどうかがわからない
試着しようにも、試着室が狭くて車椅子が入らない
着脱に時間がかかることで試着しづらい
試着せず購入するため自分に合わず捨てるといったことが数多くあります。

This service is developed in order to solve the longstanding mismatch between those people and clothes they wear every day, which has been neglected to resolve until now. We truly believe that this service will be an innovative solution not only for people with a physical disability but also for many people who are excluded from the free choice of dressing due to hospitalization and so on.

本サービスは、このような毎日触れる衣服と当事者の、これまで解決されていなかった長年のミスマッチを解消するために開発をしました。これは、身体的障害のある方のみならず、入院・通院患者など衣服の自由選択から排除された多くの人にとっての課題解決になると思います。

Solution & Service

"SOLIT IT'S FOR YOU" is a sizing app that allows people who normally use wheelchairs, canes, or spend much of their day in bed to compile their body size and movable range data by just taking a picture with their assistant devices, and while sitting or lying down, so that they can check which clothes fit them best. Existing sizing apps were based on the premise of wearing light clothing with a standing position, so people who usually wear welfare equipment or have difficulty standing up were not eligible for those services. 「SOLIT IT'S FOR YOU」は、普段車椅子を利用する方や、杖を使う方、ベッドで1日の多くの時間を過ごす方が、福祉用具のまま、そして座位や寝たまま写真を撮ることで自分の身体のサイズや可動域データがまとめられ、自分に合った服がわかるようになる、サイジングアプリです。これまでのサイジングアプリは、薄着で立ち姿勢が前提であったことから、福祉用具を普段身につける方、立ち上がることが困難な方はサービス対象外であったため、このアプリによって選択が可能になります。

Differentiating factors of the service / サービスの差別化要因

Sizing can be done even in a sitting or sleeping position.
To solve the problem that some clothes cannot be worn due to movable range limitation even though the size is available, movable range data can be added on the app.
