Inspiration

Overdeveloping a solution towards correcting peculiarities in gait.

What it does

Detect wear and tear on shoes

How we built it

FPGA, Connected to a PC via serial and then the internet through web sockets. The web sockets then update all of the clients displaying the visualisation of the grid with the current detected shoe.

I created the part that received the data from the serial port and distributed this out to all of the clients via web sockets and formed the appropriate diagrams.

I designed and developed the double sided board using 2 mm MDF and electrically conductive paint, using a laser cutter to generate wiring. I also helped contribute towards coding the FPGA.
