Welcome to Solar Assistant, a project made by Abhiram, Aleksander Garbuz, and Lauren Hur!

You will be greeted with the home page when you first click on our website. You can come back to this page by clicking on our logo or the home button on the left-hand side.

The home page includes information about solar panels, what soiling is, and how we calculate the efficiency.

We've also included graphs of the efficiency of the solar panels in 3 different sites: Site A being in Garfield, New Jersey. Site B being in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. and Site C is in Montclair, New Jersey.

The graphs are there as a visual aid for our clients who want to see the different yet common trends between our three different sites.

CALCULATOR Here is our page for the calculator. You can use our calculator to find the efficiency of your solar panels and see if it is time to clean them! All you need to do is input the yield, module temperature, and insolation.

REST-API Our project also provides a rest API for developers to integrate there project with our project. see more at readme on GitHub.

WHAT WE LEARNED Through this project, our team learned how to optimize the handling and analyzing of data through scripts in addition to utilizing user input. In the future, "Solar Assistant" has the potential to be integrated through Andriod/Ios to become a smartphone application.
