Inspiration
As engineering students, our team understands the challenges of common study practices. As verifiable practice questions can be scarce and flashcards are rigorous to make, our team seeks to create more effective tools for review.
What it does
Soki is a personalized study assistant that adapts to the user’s needs. First, the user uploads their course notes as a .pdf file. Next, Soki will automatically generate flashcards, multiple-choice questions, and methodology-based questions relevant to identified core concepts. As the user studies, they will provide feedback regarding the ease in which they produced a correct answer to each question. Soki will then leverage the Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler (FSRS) algorithm to learn and adapt to the user’s memory recollection abilities.
Relevant Challenges
This project will be included in all challenges (social neuralpsychology, language cognition, artificial intelligence, and human-computer interaction).
Generative AI Declaration
This project makes use of Generative AI for the creation of code/assets (card question-answer pairs).
