Inspiration
We were inspired by one of the speakers on the panel that surprising said drug abuse is the leading cause of death. As a result, we believe this app will leave a be an impact in helping people find an easier way to reach out for help.
What it does
If you are looking for help, if you get matched up with another person. If you follow the program, your sponsor will help you. If you are matched with someone that has the same issue as you, you will become friends and help each other out.
How we built it
Prototyped an algorithm that matches people up fairly.
Challenges we ran into
Database is hard to code. Google cloud is hard to use.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Strong communications among the group to form a very unique idea with a strong understanding on how and what to code, and exactly what problem we are solving.
What we learned
Backend is very challenging.
