Inspiration
With millions of people now working online, life with interaction can be hard. Without the pleasure of seeing coworkers and friends every day, depression can occur. As students, we know what is feels like to not being able to see our friends at school and as a result feel gloomy all the time. That's why we created Snug, a website that lets users to and feel good about themselves. We start with small goals and award points as the user completes these challenges. Our aim is to help mental health one step at a time with Snug.
What it does
Our team aims to increase awareness about Mental Health and support people suffering from even tiny mental health problems. Our mission is to ensure that everyone gains equal access to mental health support through outreach programs and technology. By SNUG we aim to create a safe and comfortable place for Generation Z with dumping their feelings in brain bin, taking positive affirmations, motivating the users every day and providing them Mental Health resources.
How we built it
We used HTML, CSS and JS for the website development.
Challenges we ran into
Combining project with was pretty challenging, but to solve this issue we made our our projects and merged them together.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to get the JS done and make the website more responsive, user-friendly and interactive.
What we learned
We learned more about website development. Another main thing we learned was collaborating with repl.it as a team. We also learned about connecting AI and Python.
What's next for Snug
Next steps for Snug include providing a community page, where users can post and connect with medical professionals and like-minded peers to create a motivating community. Our aim is for a supporting community to be developed by supporting other and congratulating them for competing the challenges.
