What it does

Immediate Summaries & Key Clause Extraction

Upload or retrieve insurance documents via DocuSign. The LLM agent quickly highlights coverage details, exclusions, and time-sensitive clauses.

Understanding Special Conditions

Identifies clauses like “Acts of God” or “Force Majeure” and clarifies what they mean in plain language. Explains additional living expenses coverage and how to claim it.

Risk Alerts & Actionable Insights

Flags unusual limitations or requirements (e.g., damage inspection timelines). Suggests important next steps, such as seeking professional legal advice if coverage disputes arise.

Empowering the Community

Offers a free or low-cost way for local residents to get rapid clarity on their insurance contracts during a crisis. Reduces the information gap between individuals and insurance providers, helping families recover faster and more comprehensively.

How we built it

User Interaction (Streamlit Frontend)

Users access a secure web interface to upload contracts or authenticate with Docusign. Users can input questions or request summaries.

LLM Processing Layer

The large language model (e.g., GPT or a fine-tuned model) analyzes uploaded documents to generate summaries, extract clauses, and answer user queries. Possible additional layer for risk scoring or specialized legal domain knowledge.

Docusign Integration

Securely pulls contract drafts or signed documents from Docusign. Syncs new versions as they get updated or countersigned.

Data Storage and Security

Ensure that documents and analysis are stored securely. Potential encryption and role-based access controls.
