We were inspired by our high school science experiments being difficult and not enjoyable to use. We knew that there had to be an easy way to do some of these experiments, not only in a way that makes the student's life easy and fun, but also enables them to actually visualize scientific concepts.

So, we decided that we wanted to create a sort of playground that students could use to visualize how gravitational fields worked, and the effect of distance and mass on the force of gravity exerted between two objects.

We used Unity to create the project.

We're proud of the fact that we were able to create a system that mimics gravity. A user can add planets of different sizes and throw them around and observe how they interact.

We learnt how to use Unity and SteamVR to create gravitational fields and have objects fall into the gravity well of the main body in the system--in our case, a model Sun.
