Google Calendar

What it does

Our website allows the user to improve their health through a personal sleep tracker and a custom sleep companion.

How we built it

We made a python and html based website using Flask and Mongo DB. We used the google people api to allow users to create an acount when they log in and store data specific to them.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into many challenges pertaining to calling variables across Javascript, CSS, html, and Python. having a website using so many languages, it was very hard to get them to all like eachother.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the companion feature and art style. So far, the calendar feature of the app is very bare bones but the pet feature showcases some original pixel-art for each companion.

What we learned

We learned how to use Json, and Jinja. We found ourselves needing to call variables across 2 and sometimes 3 languages which was especially challenging. Learning how to use DOM and script was very useful to us.

What's next for SleepPet

The next main Features that need to be done is cleaning up the calendar page and form, as well as adding more features the pet page. Currently the pet page only has 2 features (health bar and mood) but we plan to include much more interactivity to the companions.
