The problem

We are dealing with an unprecedented crisis at the moment. COVID-19 has drastically changed our lives.

To deal with the crisis we are required to stay-at-home to work.

Working from home with kids can be extra challenging as little kids expect more attention and immediate response.

The solution [What it does]

SKY is an easy to use, highly configurable and artificial intelligent helping app.

The app is developed and designed to help parents working from home to balance between their work goals and personal responsibilities.

SKY helps you to use the stay-at-home as an OPPORTUNITY to bond with and understand your kids without compromising your work commitments.

Managing kids requires patience and extra planning. SKY helps you to automate the planning using all the resources available in hand for you.

For example, instead of letting your kids watch TV all the time, you can schedule and let them watch TV for a specific period of time.

The solution uses the closed loop control system. The app action is controlled by the desired and actual inputs. Timely feedback are collected to make the process more efficient and viable.

Artificial Intelligence - Collected feedback is used to automatically train the app to the particular user.

The website [ http://www.sky.chillzee.in/index.php ] is built on PHP - MySQL (Joomla) Platform. The app will be built as a mobile app.

Inspiration behind the solution

When my mother had to work from home, she talked to us (12 year and 4 year old girls) and explained the need for her to focus on her work.

We spent time together when she is available and when she has important work or meetings, she planned activities for us in advance. Every time it is a different activity but something that we loved.

Slowly we got used to that. No whining, no cribbing! Both, mom and kids are HAPPY!!!

We wanted to share our joy with the world. And here we are!

The solution’s impact to the crisis

The work environment has become very fragile because of the pandemic. It is very important that we fulfill our job commitments effectively.

At the same time, the pandemic has also brought in extra responsibilities to the parents. Working parents has to stay at home, work and also manage their kids 24 * 7.

This situation has made the life very difficult for many families.

SKY tries to use the available resources to plan and keep the kids occupied during the hours the parents are busy with work. This solution not only keeps the kids happy, also helps the parents to understand the kids’ likes / dislikes better (correct wherever necessary) and work efficiently without any distractions.
