We want to make healthcare more accessible through our skINsight app.
What it does
Identifies skin condition using picture of affected skin area.
Chatbot to get help and information on treating the skin condition.
How we built it
App using react-native and node.js.
Custom classifier model with Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services Computer Vision API.
Chatbot with QnA Maker API.
Web crawler using python to create dataset of pictures.
Challenges we ran into
We didn't have an existing dataset to work with so we created our own!
The functionality to take live picture of the suspected skin area could not be tested as the camera app does not work in Xcode simulator

What's next for skINsight
Integrate all components of app, and publish to app store!
