We designed an app to figure out where your friends are eating in the cafeteria. Instead of frantically texting your buddies about where they’re sitting, lost in the hustle of a gazillion other students, just pull out this very simple app.
We’re newbs at app development, and albeit much googling, we have far from a final product. If we had more time and experience, we would have a zoom in function, select table function, the ability to add different accounts, and buttons to check in an out of a cafeteria, sending notifications to friends. It was our first time using android studio and we couldn't figure out some bugs so we had to strip down some features so it would run. We've got a working login page (just type in admin for username and password and click the sign in button) and a simple map of a Berkeley cafeteria. Glad we explored app development even though we didn't finish!
