We were inspired by Camus’ The Myth of Sisyphus and the idea that meaning comes from the effort itself, not from a final outcome. Sisyphus pushes a boulder up a mountain every day, forever, and Camus suggests we can imagine him happy. We wanted to bring that mindset into fitness: no finish line, only the climb. To change the world, you start with yourself. Sisuphys is for people who choose the climb and find purpose in the repetition.
What it does
Sisuphys is a fitness tracking app that turns your workout consistency into a Sisyphus-style journey. Home – A Sisyphus character that reflects your consistency: slow (0 workouts in 7 days), pushing (1–2), or fast (3+). A “path up the mountain” grid shows which days you worked out. Streak milestones (3, 7, 30 days) and quotes keep you motivated. Tracking – Log exercises with date, weight, reps, and sets. Data is stored locally with AsyncStorage. Haptic feedback when you log a workout. Progress – Line charts for max weight, volume, or estimated 1RM. Filter by 7 days, 30 days, or all time. PR badge when your latest session is a personal record. Tap data points for details.
