Inspiration

We aimed to create a more efficient and cleaner option than a standard calendar, which combines all other calendars into one. It is a version of the calendar that is adaptive and easy to use, with fewer overwhelming notifications about the day's upcoming tasks.

What it does

It allows the user to sync other calendar into this work-in-progress calendar where it will re-organize all of the events, to do list, exams, works appointments, etc... It will calculate and put the priority first of what is needed to be done and a remind the user of how much time they have left or recommendation of how soon they should start such as their work, school, study for exam.

How we built it

We use HTML, JS, CSS for the front-end design and we use Python and Flask to build the back-end for the functionality of the website. Also we have a GoDaddy domain that we wanted to use for the website

Challenges we ran into

We ran into getting GitHub working for us all to use and code together. Understand different language that we haven't learn and try to learn it in a short-time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have been successfully build the login in, registration, and the calendar pages and they all work correctly as of how we wanted it to.

What we learned

We learn how to use HTML, JS, CSS, SQL and Python with Flask through to host the website locally on our computer, we learn to communicate better and work together as a team! Also, now knowing how to use GitHub a lot better.

What's next for SimpleCalender

We wanted to keep working on it and to see the full potential plan and what it meant to do that we have for it.
