Inspiration
Heavy inspiration from bullet heaven games, specifically vampire survivors.
What it does
You play as a guard who has to fight off swarms of simulated enemies, levelling up and getting stronger (new attacks/upgrades).
How we built it
We used Godot 4.3 for all of the code, while we made some of our assets our own using Aseprite and took some, like the tileset, from asset packs as we were running out of time.
Challenges we ran into
Github kept malfunctioning and either deleted code or created errors while being very unclear on how to fix them. This led to many setbacks and multiple instances where we had to revert merges and rewrite code.

What we learned
Don't try to organize scenes in Godot as they can mess up everything.
What's next for SIMple Security
In order to further expand SIMple Security, we can add more items and revamp some parts of the system to make it more refined. There could also be more levels, with some potentially having objectives like closing breaches.
