Inspiration
We took inspiration from picking out the apps we used most on a daily basis. We thought useful yet achievable program would be the reminders app.
What it does
You can set tasks with titles and a brief description and due dates. The app lets you know about upcoming or missed tasks.
How we built it
We built our program with Java because that's what we learned in school.
Challenges we ran into
We have never learned about GUI so we decided to use an easy, though outdated, package; Swing.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of being able to design a GUI without prior experience.
What we learned
We learned how to incorporate real time into our programs using the Java.time package.
What's next for Retro To-Do List
The retro do to list is very simple right now and can benefit from different pages to show different types of tasks instead of all of it being on one page.
