Carbon Emissions

What it does

It takes a grocery receipt and then using a carbon cloud database, returns the total carbon emissions that were produced from your total grocery list.

How we built it

We built this in javascript, and separately worked on a front end in react-native

Challenges we ran into

We used Tesseract but were having some trouble initially

Learning javascript, and figuring out the different modules.

We learned about tessaract, cheerio, axios

Integrated the back end and front end. Also, adding recommendations for data collected
