Inspiration

We got inspired to make this project because we wanted users to have visualization option before shopping. The AR feature provided for some products on amazon was the inspiration for a AR-based e-commerce website.

What it does

Augmented reality shopping is the new reality of shopping. Visualize all your products at the click of a button. This e-commerce shopping platform provides our users with the privilege of seeing before buying.

How we built it

The Website was built on Flask and utilizes the echo3d API to host AR objects for e-commerce use.

Challenges we ran into

The main issue that was presented was finding a way to link AR to a website. This took loads of research until we discovered echo3d.

• We had a lot of ideas from the start to work on as AR can be implemented in many things but atlast we took e-commerce website, whose concept we liked alot.
• Since both of us were from different countries, so their was a time different.
• We also had a newcomer.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Perfect functionality and ease of use on the site.
• Since both of us were from different time-zones still we didn't lack coordination.
• We were able to accomplish what we thought of from the beginning when starting the project in the given time frame.

What we learned

2. We learnt to work in a team.
3. We learnt to follow the deadlines.

What's next for ShopAReality

We hope to expand this project by utilizing a database to store multiple AR objects and support mobile use.
