Shift was born out of the idea to make a 2D platforming rogue-like where the player had the ability to shift between two points in time in the same location. They would have to use this ability to move around the environment and dodge enemies.
We used Unity 6 to build this, however we immediately ran into the problem that our team lad a lack of experience using Unity. This caused significant time to be wasted as we got used to using the engine.
Unfortunately, our lack of experience led to the idea of the game to never fully be realized. However, it still serves as a great proof of concept for a time travelling rogue-like adventure!
