sheConnect is a website that brings together women in Computer Science from around the world; and helps them realize that there are other women experiencing the same triumphs and discouraging situations as they are. as a young woman in computer science, it is easy to feel as if you are the one in a thousand women who randomly decide to enter the field, but we are not alone. It also provides online resources specifically made for women in Computer Science related to scholarships, jobs and conferences.
The website sheConnect also inspired me to create a development program called WeConnectWorldWide. It aims to raise money and support efforts to help more than 60% of the world's population gain access to the internet.
