We love food

What it does

We handle recipe curation and provide convenient tools on a cross-platform meal-planning and lazy inventory app.

How we built it

We built it with a React front-end and a Flask back-end connected to a MySQL database

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a lot of trouble integrating each of the components together, as well as coordinating different functions and parts we made.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built and got working together everything from the database and the back-end code, to the API and the front-end UI.

What we learned

We learned how to use Flask and interact with a MySQL database, as well as the usefulness of different collaborative tools and package managers.

What's next for shabinets

We would like to integrate grocery shopping by helping manage grocery lists, reading receipts to help track perishables, and connect to APIs of common grocery stores such as Kroger and Publix.
