SG Financial Secure 101

Inspiration

“WHAT WE WANT is to make a ChatBot with the public favourite’s FaceBook and its FaceBook Messenger function to allow users to search for financial-related knowledge through simple keywords”

What it does

Main idea is to increase user friendliness in navigating websites on investments and financial advisory.

Use Key words or Prompts to search up for more information Financial Literacy Specific information (Saving, Budgeting, Insurance, Loans) Credible information (Government-related websites) Relevant information (Singapore-based banks like DBS POSB OCBC)

How I built it

We provided structures and Key in AI to allow our ChatBot to function like a human that can provide a vast amount of specific, credible and relevant information for users to ask and explore.

Challenges I ran into

The list on Financial literacy goes on and on. We can to identify what are target audiences are, and what they would like to know most about finance. After which, we craft and upload content that will give the user the best customer-orientation experience yet.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Despite our team's lack on computing knowledge, we managed to brainstorm many ideas and use simple programmes available in the market to create a prototype of our vision.

What I learned

A simple idea can go a long way as compared to being stuck on the specifics or complexity when trying create a project within a limited span of time.

What's next for SG Financial Secure 101

We definitely would like SG Financial Secure 101 to spread its wings to include more communities through inclusion of the multi-lingual system, and also add volunteers and Singapore government communities like People's association to better manage and promote the product to extent its educational range nationwide
