Inspiration

For this hackathon, we decided to take advantage of the art aspect of it and combine it with our interests in fashion and sustainability. Both of us enjoy fashion and sewing, so we decided that creating a thrift flipping project would be fun.

What it does

We decided to create three pieces of clothing: a split button down from two different ones, a top from some basketball shorts, and a revamped wrap blazer. In addition to these pieces, we decided to take our idea a step forward by creating a markup for an app that allows others to share their thrift flips and get inspiration for their next ones.

How we built it

For the physical aspect of our project, we used a sewing machine and other basic sewing supplies to create the revamped pieces. As for the app mark up, we used Figma to create the frames.
