We used arduinos to power stepper motors with our brainwaves (one of our brainwaves powered by OpenBCI Cyton, the other by a Frenz Brainband - the raw data from the brainwaves was surprisingly easy to read).
(one arduino burned out when I tried to drive a stronger 15V motor with the arduino and a motor driver at the same time). The motor driver also got heated.
The stepper motor was able to go back and forth as according to brainwaves though its resolution was not high (and it can only be powered at certain "step sizes".
We tried to get a vibrational device (eg https://www.adafruit.com/product/1201 - a vibrating motor disc) but it wasn't in the MicroCenter when we got it. This is a follow-up that can be done!
Further followups can be using it to power things we can hold to our head (this can be used for one vibrational mode of neurofeedback where you vibrate more when your brainwaves are slow).
