ServSec

Inspiration

We got inspiration from talking about cybersecurity. We were talking about cybersecurity then it hit us, that we should make a company that offers cybersecurity services.

What it does

ServSec provides a platform where freelancers can share their cybersecurity services to anyone who needs it, particularly for cyber protection. Companies can buy these services on our easy to use and very accessible website. Meanwhile, anyone can market their technological services to others in various fields.

How we built it

We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build the frontend of our website. We also used animated responsive components.

Challenges we ran into

For the responsive header (hamburger menu), we had trouble getting the styling to work right as we wanted to. We realized the problem was external styles were overriding our changes.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're most proud of our website design, professional and welcoming to the eye.

What we learned

We learned how to professionalize and how to design a website, and how to appeal to people.

What's next for ServSec

We plan to expand this website to make it easier for both the buyers and sellers to use. We will also add more features like communication in languages other than English. In addition to more languages, we want to add unique features for other technology related services such as gaming, website development, etc.
