Inspiration
What it does
SereneStories provides users with random challenges to complete when they are feeling down or in a rut.
How we built it
The project was built using a combination of React, JSX, CSS, Python, and Figma for design.
Challenges we ran into
We wanted to create a system with which users could upload photographs of them completing their challenges. With no experience in creating a server, we came up with the solution of using a discord bot.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of seamless experience of going from the discord bot, to completing the challenge, and finally returning back to the bot to confirm challenge completion. Using the product is quite satisfying.
What we learned
One significant learning experience was discovering how to collaborate on code development using GitHub as well as how to use Python as a backend language.
What's next for SereneStories
Our future plans for SereneStories include the implementation of a "Challenges Completed" section that retrieves images from GitHub and displays them in an organized manner.
