The inspiration came from the struggles I faced during my semester exams where i found my self wasting time on my phone, procrastinating because there was no one to watch me or i have no one to study with. and hence sparked the idea of Sense-Ed
Sense-ED is an AI-powered portable study buddy designed to address common challenges faced by students, such as distractions, lack of motivation, and the inability to clarify doubts when studying alone. It is equipped with a camera, speaker, and AI voice assistant, this device intelligently analyzes students' emotions (e.g., distraction, motivation, fear) and dynamically adapts to their study patterns. It offers personalized guidance, motivation, and real-time support It helps students stay on track, understand concepts better, and maintain an efficient study routine without relying on phones, reducing distractions significantly.
We learnt a lot while working on this project such as how a production ready product can be made. The challenge we faced was coming up with such an idea that would solve the burdens of so many students.
