Inspiration

We have often see food shelves in my area and we wanted to find a simple yet efficient way to help the system. Food shelves are an incredible society run service that helps those in need while also being our community together at the same time.

What it does

This product is intended to increase awareness about food insecurity and allow those who want to help donate food to do so in an efficient and easy to use application. This app lists nearby food shelves and their data of food and location. It also allows users to easily add their own shelves and remove and add food. Users are presented with the different shelves in their area and can easily click on a shelf and view its details. They then can remove or add a food item. Users can also add shelves and take care of them. In order to maintain this app and its interface, advertisements will be run on the application.
