Inspiration
Our team member's father suffers from pulsatile tinnitus, a particular form of the condition which has no treatment options. We sought to build an easy to use tool which can help mitigate this debilitating condition.
What it does
Sekmet is an innovative sound therapy tool aimed at transforming the way tinnitus sufferers experience relief. Instead of the standard white noise, Sekmet uses user input to generate a unique sound profile tailored to match and counteract an individual's specific tinnitus frequency.
How we built it
We used Flask web framework to build the tool. Audio clips were utilized from the internet and integrated into the web app

The short time frame is particularly challenging for integrating technical complexity into a web framework.
